autoconf
andautomake
should be dependencies as it won't build without themLGuy9 commented on 2021-08-09 06:07 (UTC)
@lucie_cupcakes I was not sure if htop works on arm, and if the arm binary is different in anyway, so I decided to just allow x86 to start with. Thank you for your info, I Just added aarch64 and arm architectures.

@prettyvanilla htim actually replaces the htop binary at /usr/bin/htop so I thought that 'replaces' was needed in the PKGBUILD while it didn't. Thank you for pointing this out, I pushed an update that should fix your problem.

Please remove the
replaces
line, as this package does not replace htop but provides an improved alternative. Currently this is being built for the chaotic-aur repo and thus pacman asks to replace htop, which it shouldn't.lucie_cupcakes commented on 2021-08-04 15:06 (UTC)
Just a simple comment but for making this work on ArchLinux ARM Port simply adding the Architecture to the "arch=" array made it work. (In my case "aarch64")
