skydrome, could you please add validpgpkeys=('F37CDAB708E65EA183FD1AF625EF0A436C2A4AFF') now that makepkg requires the key to be signed by the user if validpgpkeys isn't provided. Thank You. To others having trouble installing this: Frist generate a key: $ gpg --gen-key Then import zzz's key: (as listed at https://geti2p.net/en/get-involved/develop/release-signing-key) $ gpg --recv-keys 0xEE7256A8 Then sign the key: $ gpg --lsign 0xEE7256A8 You can now install i2p-bin in your normal way.

Hi. I'm unable to use i2p because it only binds to 127.0.0.1 and doesn't respect my config files. I tried in /opt/i2p/clients.config the following: clientApp.0.args=7657 0.0.0.0 ./webapps/ and also clientApp.0.args=7657 127.0.0.1,192.168.1.103,192.168.2.103 ./webapps/ I did similar change for ports 4444 and 4445 to bind to more eth interfaces but 'netstat -tlnp | grep java' still prints 127.0.0.1 netstat -tlnp | grep java: tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:4444 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 9295/java tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:4445 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 9295/java tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:7657 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 9295/java wrapper.log complains about not being able to bind to ::1, I'm not even using ::1 aka ipv6 anywhere, I grepped and looked: 2015/02/08 01:05:10 | Launching a JVM... 2015/02/08 01:05:10 | WrapperManager: Initializing... 2015/02/08 01:05:10 | Starting I2P 0.9.17-0 2015/02/08 01:05:10 | WARN: Old router was not shut down gracefully, deleting router.ping 2015/02/08 01:05:11 | INFO: Native CPUID library jcpuid-x86-linux loaded from file 2015/02/08 01:05:11 | INFO: Locally optimized library libjbigi-linux-corei_64.so loaded from file 2015/02/08 01:05:12 | INFO: Jetty 8.1.16.v20140903 logging to I2P logs using class org.eclipse.jetty.server.Server 2015/02/08 01:05:12 | Unable to bind routerconsole to ::1 port 7657: java.io.IOException: IPv6 addresses unsupported 2015/02/08 01:05:12 | You may ignore this warning if the console is still available at http://localhost:7657 2015/02/08 01:05:12 | 2015-02-08 07:05:12.373:INFO:oejs.Server:jetty-8.1.16.v20140903 2015/02/08 01:05:42 | 2015-02-08 07:05:42.113:INFO:oejs.Server:jetty-8.1.16.v20140903

Hey guys, I'm getting an error, whenever I run systemctl start i2prouter: "Failed to start i2prouter.service: Unit i2prouter.service failed to load: No such file or directory." Can anyone help with this?

skydrome commented on 2014-08-14 00:09 (UTC)

for local changes to those config files, you edit the ones in the i2p home directory (opt/i2p/.i2p/*.config) the ones that get overwritten every upgrade are the defaults and are only used on a new installation.

An upgrade overwrites the config files despite of local changes. Please consider adding the following line to PKGBUILD (although I'm not sure about the proper path notation): --------------------snip------------------------- backup=('wrapper.config' 'router.config' 'eepsite/jetty.xml' 'ipsnark.config' 'clients.config' 'i2ptunnel.config') --------------------snip------------------------- Maybe the other *.config files and all eepsite/jetty-*.xml files should be also added there, but the ones listed above are usually customized.

When I try to start i2p, it demands my root password, otherwise it won't start. How can I fix this issue? Pavel

This package requires "apache-ant". Install "apache-ant" first, then I2P-bin. Enjoy!

This does not work on my system. ==> Starting package()... [ Starting to unpack ] [ Processing package: Base (1/1) ] [ Unpacking finished ] [ Console installation done ] cp: cannot stat ‘LICENSE.txt’: No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package(). Aborting... ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build i2p-bin. ==> Restart building i2p-bin ? [y/N] ==> -------------------------------- ==>

If the version is automatically updated, remember to use -Uf to install (and ignore the other errors)
