I installed avro . But avro is not working . When I type english characters are appering instead of bangla .

I found a fix. Can you include this patch in the AUR? http://dpaste.com/2JAEKKP.txt it should change a line in ibus-avro.xml and that seems to fix the issue

Thanks for reporting this. Unfortunately it looks like an upstream issue: https://github.com/sarim/ibus-avro/issues/103 I have not taken a look at this that thoroughly. But it seems, Avro depends on an older version of IBus (1.0), and Arch Linux now provides a much newer version (1.5): https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/ibus/. The issue could be related to this.

Its not working any more. When I try to type anything in bangla i get arabic/urdu text.
