Please do not flag this as out of date simply because it shows an older version. "Note: VCS packages are not considered out of date when the pkgver changes, do not flag them as the maintainer will merely unflag the package and ignore you. AUR maintainers should not commit mere pkgver bumps."[1]

Upstream removed the /example/ directory. You can now use cp -r /usr/share/Grabber/* ~/.Grabber/

ok i tried it. but when i type: $ cp -r /usr/share/Grabber/example/* ~/.Grabber/ i get the following message: cp: cannot stat '/usr/share/Grabber/example/*': No such file or directory

try $ touch ~/.Grabber/settings.ini as well

Ok, just tried to run: $ mkdir ~/.Grabber $ cp -r /usr/share/Grabber/example/* ~/.Grabber/ $ Grabber Still no luck, same message. What is missing?

This is an upstream issue. You need to copy all files from /usr/share/Grabber/example to ~/.Grabber

I mean, what I tried to do to install is: Download the snapshot on a empty folder e. g. ~/aur In the folder, run these commands: $ tar zxf imgbrd-grabber-git.tar.gz $ cd imgbrd-grabber-git $ makepkg -s Package builds ok # pacman -U imgbrd-grabber-git-v5.0.0.r0.d9eb36e-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz Package installs ok When try to run the program, the error appears: $ Grabber GUI Message appears: No source found - Grabber No source found. Do you have a configuration problem? Try to reinstall the program. Program closes. No another message. The files compiles correctly and must be in the package, but I think they are installing in the wrong folders? Maybe all files must be in some one /opt folder or something like that? Or I am doing something wrong?

@j0n4t what isn't installing correctly? I've just tried makepkg -csrif and it looks to me that everything is in the package. I'd recommend deleting the source and downloading it again if you didn't start with a fresh build directory.

Package builds, but not installs correctly. Maybe something with upstream? After using makepkg -s , it is possible use the program directly by issuing these commands: $ cp src/imgbrd-grabber/gui/build/release/Grabber src/imgbrd-grabber/release/Grabber $ ./src/imgbrd-grabber/release/Grabber
