Something seems to be wrong with the lxnvctrl package. indicator-sensors claims it can't find the library: checking for NVCtrl/NVCtrl.h... yes checking for NVCtrl/NVCtrlLib.h... yes checking for XNVCTRLQueryExtension in -lXNVCtrl... no I have the package installed: yaourt -Qs libxnvctrl community/libxnvctrl 352.21-1 NVIDIA X Ctrl library Are we missing something? packageconfig? .so? yaourt -Ql libxnvctrl libxnvctrl /usr/ libxnvctrl /usr/include/ libxnvctrl /usr/include/NVCtrl/ libxnvctrl /usr/include/NVCtrl/NVCtrl.h libxnvctrl /usr/include/NVCtrl/NVCtrlLib.h libxnvctrl /usr/include/NVCtrl/nv_control.h libxnvctrl /usr/lib/ libxnvctrl /usr/lib/libXNVCtrl.a

@glitsj16: Done.

Would it be possible to add 'libxnvctrl' as optdepends to enable sensor support for NVIDIA GPU's? The make step detects this automatically so there's no extra changes needed. Tested locally and it works just fine. Modified PKGBUILD @ https://ptpb.pw/qiug

This package build is currently affected by this bug. https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=708673

Updated the package. You will still need to create the two symlinks mentioned earlier in the comments.

Updated the package to the latest version. If you encounter the same problem as ozlacs (you probably will), create two symlinks as root: ln -s /usr/bin/aclocal /usr/bin/aclocal-1.12 ln -s /usr/bin/automake /usr/bin/automake-1.12 This is just a workaround, a real fix can only be provided by gnome-common.

This is a gnome-common bug, it's already on their bugtracker. See https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/33285
