It generally does, however I would personally just like to remove the JDK completely from the package because it takes a lot of disk space that sums up if you have almost all JetBrains IDEs installed.

Hi Bow thanks for the suggestions. I can look at switching to HTTPS. As for the other suggestion would the pinned comment from Magotchi help in the Ultimate edition EAP (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/intellij-idea-ue-eap/) ?

Would you mind making the following changes: - Download using HTTPS instead of HTTP - Add a simple commented out line to remove the inbuilt JRE before packaging, I generally try to make everything use my custom JRE therefore I don't even want several copies of it laying on my system (something like # rm jre/ somewhere) Thanks!

IDEA 15 EAP is out: http://blog.jetbrains.com/idea/2015/06/intellij-idea-15-eap-is-open/ The new version works fine with the same packagebuild, afaik (not thorougly tested though).
