The size seems to have ballooned again for me, this time from 1100MB to 1800MB.

@gatorpatch1 Are you building with node23 or node20?

txtsd commented on 2024-11-11 14:51 (UTC)

Hold on y'all I'm working on a fix!

Anybody getting issues updating to 2.0.1? Mine fails on build because of node-gyp. Jellyseerr doesn't answer arch build issues because it's 3rd party maintained, so I figure I'd ask here.

It specifically fails on the error error: ‘NewOrCopy’ is not a member of ‘Napi::Buffer<char>’

@stecca jellyseer only builds with nodejs>=20 nodejs<=22. Once it's done building it will install the regular nodejs 23 again. There is no prebuilt tarball offered upstream, so this is the best I can do.

Created an upstream issue for this: https://github.com/Fallenbagel/jellyseerr/issues/1070

@jkhsjdhjs That's the node ecosystem for you 😭

Hmm, interesting. Pruning doesn't seem to work correctly, as for example typescript is still present even though it's only listed under devDependencies.
