Thanks @petronny. I wasn't aware of AUR helpers until recently...

@glyn Hi, this is AUR so you may need to use an AUR helper rather than pacman to install this package.
glyn commented on 2023-11-18 16:55 (UTC)
Is this still available? I tried to install it and pacman couldn't find it.

Please remove
There is no "jfbpdf" anymore. It only confuses users. The only conflict should be with "jfbview-git"

Just want to upvote this project and thank farseerfc (jichu4n) for creating the AUR package.
I works wonderfully in the console. The search and TOC functinality is very polished and usefull.
I tested and use a lot of pdf and image console viewers like, http://www.kraxel.org/blog/linux/fbida/ (gives fbi and fbpdf on arch) and https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/fbpdf-git (fbpdf2). But this one is definetly the most polished
I want to report that it compiles and works perfectly on the raspberry pi 2 and on ARM chromebooks, that is "armv7h".
So, to repeat @zertyz request, please update the PKGBUILD to include "armv6h" and "armv7h"
zertyz commented on 2019-08-08 22:32 (UTC)
Thank you for sharing your project. Please include other platforms on your PKGBUILD -- like armv6h (Raspberry Pi 1), as it works neatly there. This package is specially useful for "standalone" operation (without the X aparatus) on such devices.
-- In order to reduce the package size, you might consider using dynamically linked binaries for ArchLinux, since you can assure the user will have the required libs...

Updated to 0.5.5 for compatibility with libmupdf 1.12.
sameer commented on 2018-02-22 14:32 (UTC)
It's not compatible with the latest version of libmupdf (1.12.0-2) at the moment.

@mxfm sorry I should have say
pacman
... It might be a problem introduced by the merging of libtinfo into ncurses, and should have been fixed by the newer version of ncurses.1 2 3 Next › Last »
