@Awesome_Donkey I have problems in registering the product with my key: "there is a problem communicating with the license server" UPnP not working, I cannot find mediacenter from another computer.

MC 24 is out.

IMO, due to the upgrade cost between major versions, it might be best to add new JMC versions to their own specific package, e.g. jriver-media-center24

There's a 23.0.28 beta. The main thing is changes to the way Media Center on Linux is licensed/registered. There's an issue on Arch (and other distros) with Network Manager having a MAC address randomization on Wi-Fi, which causes a loss of registration for Media Center (since part of it was it depended on the Mac address). This beta tweaks and fixes that issue. You WILL need to reinput your registration key after updating to this beta build. I've been testing it on Arch for a few days and it's holding just fine! The link is on a completely different (beta) repo. http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/test/MediaCenter-23.0.28-amd64.deb https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,111579.0.html

I cannot update until the end of the month, since I am on holiday... However changing the version to the last one in the PKGBUILD should work fine.

In addition, it and the Mac builds gain the changes from the main branch (e.g. the Windows builds) that aren't platform specific. In essence, new features, fixes and improvements! :D https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,111310.0.html

23.0.19 (7/11/2017) 1. NEW: First non-beta build for AMD64 23.0.14 (6/29/2017) 1. NEW: Added the ability to specify the monitor in the Options for Full Screen Mode. Needs testing on various desktops/window managers. 23.0.10 (6/22/2017) 1. NEW: First builds of MC23 for Linux. 2. Changed: Re-Write linux internet reader to streamline seeking on reading of files. This is a big change and will make a difference in the behavior of MC when playing files over the network and when used as DLNA renderer, especially on slow devices. Report regressions please. 3. NEW: The "Radio" feature, SSL support and others from the main build tree.

The problem is that version 111 has been pulled by upstream. The right version now is 108 (downgraded just now)
