makepkg cannot run the PKGBUILD if jq is not installed already. jq being a dependency does not help because makepkg seems to run the source line before checking dependencies.

This package fetches and extracts the latest Github release. To update just rebuild the package. I'll try to bump the package occasionally, for those with AUR helpers.
