installed and takes pictures fine... however when I go to record it starts the record.. but only a temporary recording then deletes automatically. Can't choose between Start/Stop Cancel is the only option available.

latest release of Kazam was 7 years ago. seems to still work great, except the mic. but I wonder if it is a security concern or may break your system being so old and not updated. thoughts?

Can you guys get the microphone to work on your systems? Microphone unknown in preferences and in terminal

I'm getting this error too.
Edit:
Turns out
pyenv
's python installation was being used while build.Solved it by running
pyenv global system
@heavysink I think putting
/usr/bin/python3
instead ofpython3
