I was unable to install this package, giving me the following error message: BUG! exception in phase 'semantic analysis' in source unit '_BuildScript_' Unsupported class file major version 67

"class file major version 67" indicating a JDK 23 environment.
According to https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Java#Switching_between_JVM you can (and have to) JDK 17 easily by using the command sudo archlinux-java set java-17-openjdk to set the current JDK to version 17 and rerun the install. After that you can go back to your previous Java version.

@SoftExpert I can't replicate the issue with a clean install of Arch Linux (no java related packages). JDK 17 should be the only requirement to build a Compose Multiplatform application (+ dpkg for packaging). Please make sure you don't have any other JDK installed (or that JDK 17 is being used). Older JDKs are not supported (see Limitations of Compose Multiplatform for desktop releases).

I'm getting the following error, although jdk17-openjdk is installed :

FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

* What went wrong:
Execution failed for task ':desktopApp:checkRuntime'.
> Failed to check JDK distribution: 'jlink', 'jpackage' are missing

Any idea which unlisted dependency can supply thr missing components ?
