@TioDuke Thank you! And it seems you are right - I tried installing right now and got the familiar error message:
"141946-MediaInfoKDE.desktop ... FAILED"
Can someone please tell me what exactly to change in the PKGBUILD to make the installation succeed?
I have updated it of today's link. But I am almost certain the download link changes frequently. We'll see in no time.
To maintainer: How about simply procuring the package with correct PKGBUILD?
@Pietro_Pizzi There are two md5sums in the pkgbuild. I have tried to change both with your suggested one without success. The first part of my pkgbuild looks like this:

I have had the same situation over several versions now...
Checksum on 0.6-4 is fine, problem is with download link. Replace it with the correct one from kde-look and it'll install just fine.
@whaler you have to change the md5sum in the PKGBUILD:
aur-kde-servicemenus-getmediainfo $ md5sum 141946-MediaInfoKDE.desktop
769daeec3dcd111c3fe27ef22bd6fb4f 141946-MediaInfoKDE.desktop
But that's the easy fix. After that I have the same issue like @zoe:

Please do not disown this package. I am still maintaining it. I have already given an explanation as to why the file needs to be downloaded manually : the download url changes constantly. If you know of an url that does not change, please submit patches and I will integrate them ASAP.
