KNIME has no write permission in /usr/share/java/knime-desktop/ and is not able to install any plugins.

Done, sorry.

May I ask if this package is still maintained actively?

HedgehogCode commented on 2019-12-10 19:58 (UTC)

I don't use the AUR package but the latest upstream version runs fine for me. Are you using Wayland? If yes, try GDK_BACKEND=x11. KNIME AP does not really run on Wayland.

Is anyone able to run knime stable? It is not usable at all for me no matter what I do (different java versions, SWT_GTK=1). Hangs and crashes all over the place. I also tried the newer upstream version - the same issues.

Done, thanks for the hint.

Can you add "webkit2gtk" as optional depends for display HTML content (https://www.knime.com/faq#q6)?

I am sorry that I didn't take care of it. You are very welcome to maintain it. Thank you!

Is this going to be updated? Otherwise, I could also take care of this.

StreakyCobra commented on 2016-03-04 10:39 (UTC)

I don't have time to maintain this package, especially as I don't use Knime anymore. It will need some work for the transition to 3.* version.
