Package should now build with makepkg. The package was originally made to be built in a clean chroot. So if you still have problems, try building in a clean chroot.

The .desktop file is fixed now.

I've never seen the path/png error you describe. Try rebuiding in a clean chroot. If that doesn't help, do you have some outdated (aur) packages that may need to be updated or rebuilt?

This one has multiple issues:

  • It requires aclocal-1.9 and automake-1.9 executables to be present.
  • If I symlink aclocal and automake to aclocal-1.9 and automake-1.9, it complains it cannot make target kobodeluxe/pkg/kobodeluxe/var/lib/kobodeluxe/scores, needed by 'install-data-hook'.
  • If I skip this, 'kobodeluxe' executable is created, while 'kobodeluxe.desktop' still looks for 'kobodl'.
  • And if I run 'kobodeluxe', even from the '/usr/share/kobo-deluxe' folder, where 'gfx' and 'sfx' subfolders reside, it aborts with the message 'Couldn't get path to "GFX>>loading3.png"!'
