I don't know, I just wrongfully assumed that AUR helpers didn't have that functionality for some reason. My bad! Thank you, now I'll never push useless version updates again.

Are there still AUR helpers which can't do git versions?

I know! :) It's just some people who might be updating their packages from their AUR helper or script won't get the new versions unless they manually recompile it or the package's version changes.

This project has a scheduled rename to kubo, as part of this the package will be republished as kubo-git as well. :)

Why isn't there a
