The project seems to have silently become closed-source: the last version (2.x) seems to be exclusively available on the project website, website that doesn't provide any link to this repo, stuck to version 0.4.

Hello! Thanks for packaging LANDrop! axionl and I are the maintainers of landrop-git (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/landrop-git/) (I'm the author of this project). We would be appreciative if you could add us as co-maintainers. Also for the qmake command, you can specify the PREFIX environment variable instead of changing the .pro file, as demonstrated in the landrop-git package. Thanks!
