please update to latest version, thx. ps: for other user. from here(https://github.com/getlantern/lantern-binaries/commits/master) , you can get the latest version of lantern, including sha256sum. then update the PKGBUILD your self with the cimmitID and sha256sum strings, then use `makepkg` to package pkg.tar.xz file, last, use `sudo pacman -U xxx.pkg.tar.xz` to install you lantern. sorry, to my poor English.

Hi: You can use a fixed commit hash to maintain a fixed version of the installer. Change source_x86_64 to 'https://raw.githubusercontent.com/getlantern/lantern-binaries/a670218333229bd7dd5955ad6cc17f2ebe534e68/lantern-installer-64-bit.deb', then this package will build successfully.

Have to change sha1sums in PKGBUILD manually for this package to be built.

When a new update is released this package is unable to be built. They store binaries on github and the source is impossible to build. The Lantern team doesn't seem to care. That's why the main lantern package is not being updated.

sha1sums is outdated so its unable to pass the validity check

lantern-installer-beta-64-bit.deb ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build lantern-newest. Please fix this

It's headless. Runs as a deamon without a tray icon etc.
