Getting an error when building:

Yes, testing uncovers errors in the code. Someone with sufficient knowledge could fix it. (I do not possess such knowledge.)

But actually lcms is not needed by fbsplash. So that PKGBUILD needs to be changed to remove its unused dependency upon this insecure obsolete legacy package.
