Thanks for noticing!
I've also updated the version and fixed license. I noticed there seem to be an optional ipython+traitlets dependency, but I haven't fully understood that bit so I left it for now.
Also would like to add myself I normally prefer to set a venv for using lektor these days, so happy to give away maintenance to anyone who considers themselves more of an active user of the package.

Failed on me in Python ways.
File "/usr/bin/lektor", line 5, in <module>
from lektor.cli import main
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'lektor'
Was helped on IRC, and told to point out setuptools is a runtime dependency.

Thanks for catching that! Already had it installed so did not notice.

Latest update doesn't build due to a missing dependency:

FYI, I had to rebuild a couple of packages to make this one work. python-inifile and python-exifread were built against an older python version than 3.11.

Thank you for maintaining the package!
I just encountered (an upstream) bug which is already fixed in the sources git repo and wanted to help out other users of the package.
replace werkzeug.posixemulation.rename (which was moved to secure-cookie [0,1]) with os.replace (in utils.py and builder.py) [1]
This is already fixed upstream [2]
You might also need to fix python-inifile s usage of MutableMapping [3] for lektor to work.

Thanks, sorry your comment flew by me somehow. I corrected the path to the patch now.

The path to the patch file in prepare is incorrect if using a custom $BUILDDIR. Since items listed in sources are automatically copied to $srcdir, you can just use
../01_werkzeug1.patch
in the prepare function instead. I've tested this and it's working fine for me. Could you please make this change when you have a chance? Thanks for the package!

Thanks for feedback, sorry I did not notice the Werkzeug issue.
From https://github.com/lektor/lektor/issues/829 it sounds like Werkzeug 1 should work now, so I applied a patch to remove the version dependency.
