There are supposedly ABI breaking changes between .so versions, so linking libva.so.1 to libva.so.2 is not wise.
I created a lib32-libva1-compat PKGBUILD which provides the actual .so.1 files, based on the last lib32-libva package version that had them. It's available at:
https://pastebin.com/gcbbXQE1
Also pushed libva1-compat to AUR while at it.
