I get this message when I run package update.

:: installing libusb (1.0.23-3) breaks dependency 'libusbx>=1.0.8' required by libftd2xx

I would guess that libusbx dependency needs to be replaced with libusb.

This package gives the following error for me

AttributeError: /usr/lib/libftd2xx.so.1.4.8: undefined symbol: stime

Hi @xiretza: I've tweaked the permissions here.

xiretza commented on 2020-04-06 16:02 (UTC)

The udev rules file should be installed with -Dm644 instead of -Dm755. There's no reason for it to be executable, and udevadm test complains about it:

Configuration file /etc/udev/rules.d/55-ft2232.rules is marked executable. Please remove executable permission bits. Proceeding anyway.

I cannot reliably maintain so I have given up ownership. Apologies for the delay.

Just a heads-up, libftd2xx isn't released under the GPL. The actual license terms are here: https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/FTDriverLicenceTermsSummary.htm

1.4.8 is out.

(and still needs a .SRCINFO regeneration for 1.4.6 currently packaged)

makepkg --printsrcinfo >.SRCINFO

cbjamo commented on 2018-09-11 22:15 (UTC)

You need to update the .SRCINFO for the aur/aur helpers to understand that the package has been updated.

Latest update is live, sorry for the delay.
