you are 100% correct thank you

@clickit I am 99% sure this is caused by your yay cache. I have just bumped the pkgrel, so you shouldn't have any issues now. If you do, try clearing the cache with:

rm -rf ~/.cache/yay/libmp3splt

I am also using yay -Syua

Is this yay? Maybe this something with the AUR helper, I'm using yay and cannot reproduce this behaviour.

hi, although current and update versions are the same, package keeps asking for upgrade

:: 1 package to upgrade/install. 1 aur/libmp3splt 0.9.2-6 -> 0.9.2-6 ==> Packages to exclude: (eg: "1 2 3", "1-3", "^4" or repo name) -> Excluding packages may cause partial upgrades and break systems

what to do other than exclude it ?

thanks in advance
