@cubethethird: looks like liferea developer downgraded version on github. Will fix this asap.

The pkgver() function seems to be returning an older version than the explicitly defined one (currently v1.12.7.r1.ga898b199-1). I'd recommend you either change the function or remove it completely.

As per https://github.com/lwindolf/liferea/issues/552 This package will not currently build while logged into a Wayland session. If on Gnome, for example, logging out and switching to an X.org session will allow the package to be built.
