Arch is moving on to KF6, so building for KF5/Qt5 probably won't work long term.

so now we need a lightly-qt5-git and delete the old one

I've switched this package to the qt6 branch.

Anyone know what this is about? CMake Error: The INTERFACE_QT_MAJOR_VERSION property of "Qt6::Gui" does not agree with the value of QT_MAJOR_VERSION already determined for "lightlydecoration"

"not a clone" means the git clone is out of sync. Clear the aur helper cache should resolve it. Some have an option to do a "clean" build (but not necessarily same as "clean chroot").

Most likely caused by recent change from luws to boehs fork.

@xiota oh in that case it probably doesn't, sorry. It's just that I'm getting […]/lightly-git/lightly is not a clone of https://github.com/boehs/lightly.git errors when trying to upgrade so I was trying to reproduce the PKGBUILD steps and noticed the pkgver command wasn't returning the correct version string. But if it's run in bash that can't be the issue. Still looking then.*

Edit: a manual makepkg ran correctly so maybe it's pamac messing things up… I guess I'll find out next release.

@evpok PKGBUILDs use bash. Why is yours using a different shell?

evpok commented on 2023-11-04 18:42 (UTC) (edited on 2023-11-04 18:54 (UTC) by evpok)

The new pkgver doesn't work well with xonsh where git describe --long --tags | sed -E 's/^v//;s/([^-]*-g)/r\1/;s/-/./g' needs an extra escape for \1.- Could we use git describe --long --tags | sed -E "s/^v//;s/([^-]*-g)/r\\1/;s/-/./g" instead, which should work in bash, fish and xonsh (or even sed -E "s/v([^-]*)-([^-]*)-(g.*)/\\1.r\\2.\\3/", which is more explicit in extracting the version from the git version string?)?

Thanks. I'll update the package.
