@visious5d Since the support is over I doubt HP will ever build this for 64bit system. The only idea is perhaps is to try install a 32bit system into VirtualBox and make the CD/DVD writer available to the virtualized system. But not really sure if this could work.

@jose1711 Yes, you're exactly right. I understand, HP developers needs to build those 2 packages lightscribe and lightscribe-labeler for 64 bit architecture but this is impossible. The support has been ended for lightscribe by HP.
PS: If you find another way to install lightscribe without 32 bit libraries, please tell me.

@visious5d Let me understand: you want to use a 32-bit software on a 64-bit system but at the same time refusing to install its 32-bit dependencies? I don't know of any other way this can be done.

Hi, I got an "error making: lightscribe" when trying to build the package.
PS: I don't want to install 32 bit libraries in my system

bin32-lightscribe
has been created for x86_64Alad commented on 2017-12-06 07:44 (UTC)
You could probably make this work for x86_64 as well by including the proper lib32 dependencies. You can include these in the depends_x86_64 array.
