@eggz thanks again for maintaining this package for so long. Hopefully things will improve and you will come back in the future. All the best for now!

Hey @eggz,
I’m really sorry to hear that and even though you unfortunately also deleted your account I hope you still see this message.
Thank you for your hard work keeping this package available over the past few years and also for always being there to help debugging and identifying upstream issues in your unpaid free time. I hope that at some point you will return here.
I hope you are doing well outside this platform and that the stuff going on here did not permanently affect your wellbeing.
I’m really sad to see you go.
With best regards,
Arne Fahrenwalde

Hello, due to ongoing harassment on the AUR directed towards me from certain individuals, I find myself unable to continue maintaining any packages here. The relentless pressure and ill-mannered behavior from certain individuals behind the scenes have made it untenable for me to contribute further. Despite efforts to address these issues, the lack of action from the admins has only exacerbated the situation.
It deeply saddens me to have to make this decision, but for the sake of my well-being and peace of mind, I must step down from my role as a maintainer. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the users who have supported my work and used my packages over the years. Your encouragement has meant a great deal to me.
I hope that someday the AUR community can come together to foster a more respectful and supportive environment for all contributors. But for now, I bid you farewell!

im using this kernel for performance reasons, not security. im the only user in my computers, so local exploits dont make sense in my case. how can i disable this plugin thing, to be able to use the cpu optimisations?

the vanilla arch kernel doesnt have CONFIG_GCC_PLUGIN_STACKLEAK, which is really questionable...

Yes, it works with default arch kernel. It worked until the last version with znver2 on 3600X. Seems to work with znver3 on 56000X.

huh, if I read that correctly, it seems the nvidia dkms is not compatible with the stackleak plugin or kernel hardening. If that is correct and I read that right, That's not a very secure dkms mod then!

@teJECSke
Interesting error but not enough info. Has it worked before, does it work on other kernels, are you using other custom kernels. What are you asking?

good to hear! I dont use the "CONFIG_EFI" module and it had upstream trouble.
