I am personally experiencing problems when shutting down/ rebooting this latest 6.2.3 kernel. Im investigating.

CONFIG_LEGACY_TIOCST is a potential security leak vector so I wont be adopting it. To ignore the validity check you can tell your package manager to do so, or set the sha256 sum to 'SKIP' or to the actual sha256. its very easy to do. Theres even an example in the sha256sums= section (the kernel git data itself). Did you even read the PKGBUILD?

@eggz Thank you very much for the update!

Hey! Will there be an update to 6.0? Considering that it is now final?
<deleted-account> commented on 2022-08-28 11:10 (UTC)
as far I can see those changes are already present in
I do not see a regression in 5.19?
EndlessEden commented on 2022-08-28 07:58 (UTC)
There is currently a regression in this kernel for qlogic qlcnic's. This patch from 2018(https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=c333fa0c4f220f8f7ea5acd6b0ebf3bf13fd684d) seems to be reverted.
idk if its a upstream issue or patch issue (didnt investigate that far), but it was work in 5.18.x for certain (idk my previous kernel version specific, too busy).

@eggz compiling the kernel myself fixed the issue somehow, using the pre-compiled version wouldn't work
