@poltak, that message comes from the linux kernel depmod script itself and not a result of this pkgbuild.

Just saw some output after the latest version finished compiling and putting the package together stating the recently dropped package 'module-init-tools' (replaced by kmod) is needed to be installed. It was just a warning and proceeded to install the new kernel anyway (with everything now working fine). Just letting you know I got the error in case you need to override something so others don't get confused in the future.
