if you need ps4/ps5 controller support you need to add:
scripts/config -m LEDS_CLASS_MULTICOLOR
scripts/config -m HID_PLAYSTATION
scripts/config -e PLAYSTATION_FF
to PKGBUILD

Proposal update
The package has been updated to 6.11.7 (clr 6.11.6-1477), and with that landlock support has been enabled the package source moved to https://git.staropensource.de/JeremyStarTM/linux-clear.
Proposal update
I have recently proposed moving this package's source to my own Forgejo (git forge) instance and creating a push mirror to the AUR. As I haven't received any feedback on the proposal, I will be moving forward and move the repository in the next package update. Again, nothing should change, just where the changes are pushed to. I hope that this change will provide an easier way of contributing (AFAIK there isn't a way to contribute to a package directly or I'm just dumb).
ZhangHua: I can enable landlock support in the next package update. Didn't even notice that pacman 7.0 requires it. Regarding $pkgrel
: The previous maintainer (metak) set it to 0 by default, which I just inherited. I'll set it to 1
by default in the next release.
Hey, I think you may consider enabling landlock manually. Because upstream has not enabled it, while pacman 7.0 requires it.
What's more, your pkgrel seems to be missing, which results that the version string is $pkgver-0
, although it is not a big problem, archlinux usually let pkgrel starts from 1.
Important proposal
I am currently thinking about moving this package to my Forgejo (self-hostable git forge) instance at https://git.staropensource.de and creating a push mirror to the AUR, pushing changes to the AUR around every hour. Issue requests will be enabled except for bug reports and help requests to avoid people needing to create another account just for one package if they need help.
I would like to get some feedback on this proposal before actually moving the package over.
noitemstoshow: I've updated the list of subarchitectures in the PKGBUILD file. They were outdated due to kernel compiler patch updates and I completely missed them during the trouble. That should now be fixed.
To your second problem: I unfortunately can't assist with modprobed-related issues as I don't compile my kernel with modprobed. Though maybe running menuconfig and (de)selecting the problematic settings may help? Otherwise I can't help you unfortunately.
One issue that can be put into the next fix: In the PKGBUILD for arch selection it lists arch up to 45. But the actual building process only have 42 options. If I select 44 in the PKGBUILD, then the building will in a dead loop because 44 is not valid.

I'm using modprobed system to reduce the number of modules/drivers need to built , the db is at /home/user/.config/modprobed.db then it reports those module doesn't have config. When compiling other kernels, I don't have such warnings. Where should I put those config? I tried to put CONFIG_MAC_EMUMOUSEBTN in PKGBUILD but doesn't work.
Updated the package to 6.11.4, tested in a VM, everything works. Update is out now, everything should work again. Again, sorry for the trouble in the past few days.
6.11.3-3 boots fine for me. @0byte what error message you got ? It could be your own OS issue.

Updates
I usually publish updates 0-3 days after a kernel release, depending on how busy I am.
If I however get wind of security-relevant updates or any vulnerabilities I will try to update the kernel as soon as possible and write a comment about the vulnerability/update. So make sure to subscribe to this package's comment mailing list.
The PKGBUILD file supports customization via environment variables. Here's a list of all of them:
_makemenuconfig
: Invokesmake menuconfig
(ncurses-based default configuration menu) before compilation starts_makenconfig
: Invokesmake nconfig
(ncurses-based nicer configuration menu) before compilation starts_makexconfig
: Invokesmake xconfig
(X11-based GUI configuration menu) before compilation starts_use_current
: Will use the configuration of the running kernel, if the running kernel is compiled withIKCONFIG_PROC
_copyfinalconfig
: Copies the final kernel configuration into the repository root askconfig-new
before compilation starts_localmodcfg
: Only compiles modules found in modprobed-db's database (which decreases compilation time and kernel size)_use_llvm_lto
: Compiles the kernel with LLVM instead of GCC. Should work, if not write a comment_subarch
: Specifies the sub architecture to compile for (see the PKGBUILD file for a list of all subarches). Default is40
(Generic-x86-64), which is compatible with all amd64 processors. Must be a number_debug
: Force enables debug options when set toy
, force disables debug options when set ton
or uses the config defaults when unsetAll of these variables just need to be set for them to apply, except for
_subarch
and_debug
. See their descriptions for more information.GPG errors
If makepkg complains about invalid PGP keys, try running this command first:
gpg --locate-keys torvalds@kernel.org gregkh@kernel.org sashal@kernel.org benh@debian.org
. This command only needs to be executed once.Issue handling
Please only submit issues in the package's repository if they aren't bug reports about the package or help requests. Please keep them to the AUR only. Tihs prevents unnecessary signups.
Build tool
If you want a dead simple way to compile this package, you can try out my build tool. It includes a few no nonsense changes to the kernel configuration and allows you to configure the PKGBUILD file in a simple manner and decrease build time. And if you don't want that, using
makepkg
as-is works fine too.
