Hello,
You might want to update your PKGBUILD for options related to BFS, as Muqss has been merged in linux-zen, replacing BFS: https://github.com/zen-kernel/zen-kernel/issues/85
Thanks!
Edit: flagged the pkg out-of-date for this reason, because enabling BFS in the PKGBUILD will do nothing on 4.8.3. I'm sorry about that.

I'm also getting freezing with BFS. On my i5 3570k desktop it freezes when running x264, or simply "sudo poweroff". On my Pentium P6200 laptop it will freeze when opening chrome, or wiggling the terminal around. I could not find any useful info in journalctl though.
Edit: After rebuilding with CFS the freezing still happens on my Desktop, not sure on the laptop yet, this time it "unfreezes" after a hour of being frozen.

Hello,
I get some freezes at boot when enabling BFS, when I did not have any issue on 4.7.7. Going back to CFS fixes the issue. I don't know how to get some logs, but on 10 boots, 8 or 9 are failing/freezing.
I saw that CK released some recent patches for BFS (like 10 days ago) that fixed some freezes. Are they merged in liquorix yet?

Bump to 4.8.2

No problem. I'll push a new tarball in a couple hours.

Sorry about that sir_lucjan. Flagged it before I saw your comment.
Edit: updated pkgbuild file to 4.8.1 and it builds fine on my end.

@neognomic, net/ipv4/tcp_input.c is not changed by by Zen or by Liquorix. All I can suspect is that your environment may be contributing to the build error and connectivity issues.
Try the 4.8 series when sir_lucjan bumps it next week, if this kernel specifically is still causing issues for you, I'll take a look.

This is apparently more than just a warning:
CC net/ipv4/tcp_input.o
net/ipv4/tcp_input.c: In function ‘tcp_data_queue’:
net/ipv4/tcp_input.c:4283:49: warning: array subscript is above array bounds [-Warray-bounds]
tp->selective_acks[i-1] = tp->selective_acks[i];
as the network is broken.
~messages~
"WIRED CONNECTION DEACTIVATED"
"IP Configuration UNAVAILABLE"
...unable to obtain ipaddress.
I suppose linux44, linux47, linux-mainline and linux-ck working as expected would be ample to indicate that it is this kernel. { Only mod to PKGBUILD was for localmodconfig(same as used for linux-ck and linux-mainline(linux48)] }.
Thanks anyway; LQX looks almost ideal for desktop usage.
