Builds fine for me, but check this out: From https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/li/linux-ck/PKGBUILD ### DO NOT MERGE OUT THIS IF STATEMENT ### IT AFFECTS USERS WHO STRIP OUT THE DVB STUFF SO THE OFFICIAL ARCH CODE HAS A CP ### LINE THAT CAUSES MAKEPKG TO END IN AN ERROR ### if [ -d include/config/dvb/ ]; then mkdir -p "${pkgdir}/usr/lib/modules/${_kernver}/build/include/config/dvb/" cp include/config/dvb/*.h "${pkgdir}/usr/lib/modules/${_kernver}/build/include/config/dvb/" fi

@ Freso Check your mailbox ;)

Disabling DVB related things in .config is a perfectly valid thing to do, so the PKGBUILD shouldn't fail if DVB things aren't available. The 3.18.9-1 PKGBUILD still has this issue.

Probably your system is misconfigured.

cokomoko, at this point we suspect you have a tainted build environment or your system is misconfigured. The errors you're showing us is that files are missing after they were built. Perhaps you have some serious filesystem corruption? If you keep having trouble, I would try building this package in a virtual machine or on another linux host, just to be sure it's not your current system that's breaking the build.

Did you modify a config file?
