It's fine now.

Oh how I wish it were that simple! I'm sure your PKGBUILD is fine. If you're at all curious as to what's going on my end, https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=197787

You should use a makepkg without root privileges.

MrEvilBreakfast commented on 2015-05-24 08:08 (UTC)

Well it may not be the PKGBUILD's fault. No AUR kernel will compile for me. Disregard me.

I'm getting patching errors... ... patching file tools/perf/util/cloexec.h patching file tools/perf/util/symbol-elf.c patching file tools/power/x86/turbostat/Makefile patching file virt/kvm/arm/vgic.c patching file virt/kvm/kvm_main.c ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in prepare(). Aborting... Naturally, running makepkg --noprepare results in a healthy stream of errors.

Did you try for example xconfig?

thoffmeyer commented on 2015-05-19 02:17 (UTC)

I don't know if this is a menuconfig/nconfig glitch or to do with nVidia drivers, but I cannot for the life of me get menuconfig/nconfig working in fb or terminal without just massivly glitching out.. Not sure if anyone else has this problem just massive flickers..
