@Beiruty: thanks for the heads-up! There was a re-release of the binaries. I just updated the packages for the "main" right now.

⚠ INFO: We had to switch to SourceForge for retrieving the binaries.
Unfortunately, the bandwidth will not always be satisfactory - so the download time could be 20x longer. Plan your updates accordingly.

@figue: kind of fuzzy on that, I confess. I understand that mainly PKGBUILD needs to be updated and, occasionally, patches can be added/removed. All is synchronized with a git-based repository.

@SoftExpert you don't maintain any packages in AUR. Do you know how it works AUR packaging?

@figue: I would like to help, then. What can I do ?
figue commented on 2023-02-23 22:04 (UTC)
@SoftExpert maybe it's possible, but in that case users should worry about new releases and force the update manually. I think the nightly packages are build in that way to download always the latest nightly which changes everyday.
To update packages as soon as possible, is better to have a comaintainer that pushes new releases in case I can't. Volunteers can always post a comment here :)

@figue: I was wandering: since this package is a repackaging of already compiled binaries, can it be modified so that a rebuild automatically retrieves the latest version, similar to the firefox-nightly-bin package ? That way, you will not need to modify it every time there is a new release ...

It's funny, I've just see that there is an official repo in Sourceforge:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xanmod/files/releases/main/
I have switched sources to Sourceforge, I'm not sure if there is a better method, but it's the first method that occurred to me.
