The current gcc version has been updated to 4.7.1, preventing this package to build as it explictily requires gcc=4.7.0.
Changing the "gcc=_gcc_ver" to "gcc>=_gcc_ver" fixes the build.

I had the same problems with includes as reuben.bond, with his modifications everything works.
I modified the PKGBUILD for easier rebuilding without the need to compile everything again every time, in case someone is interested, here's the patch: https://github.com/mosra/archlinux/commit/76d6c4b99a2e22889c016c026a3c807f2c21a958

It's not yet clear whether the bug is in GCC or LLVM/Clang. LLVM guys think it's a GCC bug (they are closing all bug reports), while the lead GCC developer thinks it might be a strict aliasing bug in LLVM/Clang. I'm afraid it won't be resolved soon, so just include the workaround ;)
svenstaro commented on 2012-04-23 01:20 (UTC)
Isn't this just a workaround? Since this is the svn package, we can easily fix it by showing upstream the wrong behavior. Did you open an upstream bug? If so, please link it here.

Please add "-fno-tree-pre" to CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS because clang crashes when run with "-Wall".
See https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/29481 for more info.

Reuploaded with some fixes from official PKGBUILD.
More are probably needed.
svenstaro commented on 2012-04-03 16:08 (UTC)
Fixed and updated to gcc 4.7.0.
randomize46 commented on 2012-04-03 06:26 (UTC)
Please, update PKGBUILD _gcc_ver=4.6.2 to _gcc_ver=4.6.3, because it tries to build a gcc before building clang actually
svenstaro commented on 2012-02-18 02:49 (UTC)
I just built on another system and do not run into any issues either. Package here: http://178.63.102.135/svens_stuff/clang-svn-150860-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
reuben.bond commented on 2012-02-17 20:52 (UTC)
If anyone else is able to reproduce, please chime in. I certainly cannot produce Svenstaro's results without patching the PKGBUILD.
I have had an email asking me for the PKGBUILD, saying that the pastebin had expired (it seems alright again now), which suggests I'm not alone.

When you have this package installed applications that are built against repo-llvm/clang WILL fail unless they are rebuild against this package.
This includes QTCreator, kdevelop , mesa, intel-compute-runtime, gnome-builder to name a few.

Archlinux currently has 3 llvm git implementations
This package
llvm-minimal-git
packages created & maintained by Lordheavy, an arch developer

I've looked good at clang-trunk , llvm-svn, repo llvm/clang packages and think this package is now on route to become a worthy successor to llvm-svn .
llvm-libs-git holds the runtime libraries.
llvm-git
The Package now uses a new environment variable to make ninja behave, NINJAFLAGS. If you want to use it adjust the snippet below to your desired values and add it to makepkg.conf.
Incase you are satisfied with ninja defaults you don't need to do anything.
The check() function fails rather often, but I do suggest to build with them. If build fails due to test failure you can add --nocheck to skip the tests.
