Okay, I've found on to reproduce it: In preferences > Customize Look and Field : choose the tab "Widget". In this, choose "Lubuntu default" Then, in the LXDE app menu on the panel (that's the menu you get when clicking on the bottom left swallow icon), if you mouse over the items of the menu, the foreground is white. On the light background, the item more or less becomes indistinguishable... You can change the foreground color of selected item (in tab "color" of "Cusotmize look and feel) but not the background. In fact, this is the same problem with some other "widgets" in the list, like LxDesign

@wchouser3 I've uninstall it and reinstall it and now it's working without problem with the 0.57 version! Great work!

I'm not having that problem. Are you sure you're using the appropriate icon theme to match the gtk theme. I know there's more than one. Also, are you talking about the LXDE app menu on the panel, or something else?

Bug for the last version 0.56.1: In the menu, when you mouse-over on the items of the menu, the background color is a pale blueish color. Since the foreground color by default is blank when you hover on them, the items become rather indistinguishable. If you try to manually correct that: by going into "customize look and feel" > "color" > "use customized color": in "selected item": you can change the foreground color but the background color, whichever one you choose, will keep the same pale blueish color.

FOr the latest update, I get an error when trying to install: ==> Starting package()... cp: cannot stat ‘/var/cache/pacman/pkg/lubuntu-artwork12750/lubuntu-artwork/src/lubuntu-artwork-0.50/usr’: No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().

The package is not working, likely due to the source URL being used. It gives a 404. I guess it needs an update to: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/l/lubuntu-artwork/lubuntu-artwork_0.45.tar.gz
