This package also has broken NPM/Yarn commands and does not currently build at all.

@dopsi The request to fix the symlink has gone unanswered for a year. Can you add me as a co-maintainer or disown this so we can get fixes through faster? Thanks.

It installs broken symlink from /usr/bin/marktext-git to /usr/lib/marktext-git/marktext-git instead of /usr/lib/marktext-git/marktext.
