@digitalone hmm, sorry for the confusion :D if i look at https://github.com/MediaArea/MediaInfo/blob/master/Project/GNU/GUI/mediainfo-gui.desktop it's not the same file i have in /usr/share/kservices5/ServiceMenus/ idk where this file comes from...

@digitalone I'm talking about the mediainfo-gui.desktop you mentioned before.

It provides a service/context entry for dolphin. It is installed in /usr/share/kservices5/ServiceMenus/, but can be overwritten in ~/.local/share/kservices5/ServiceMenus/ if it has the same name.

Oh, excuse me, I didn't realize that. I just saw .desktop but didn't compare the names :P At the moment i just overwrite it with ~/.local/share/kservices5/ServiceMenus/mediainfo-gui.desktop Maybe i will create a pullrequest at github.

@tonk I can make an update for the external Plasma Desktop service files, but for app desktop entry you have to ask to devs on Github repository: https://github.com/MediaArea/MediaInfo/blob/master/Project/GNU/GUI/mediainfo-gui.desktop

Thanks for this package. Just a small suggestion. I think it would be an improvement to use %U or %F instead of %u in the .desktop files. So you can easily compare several files via the dropdown menu.

Upstream GTK mediainfo-gui is ugly? Install this Qt version.
