Seems it was due to me having 7-zip-full installed instead of p7zip. Installing p7zip fixed it.

@SteelT: Nice catch. Fixed in 06d68c731d67, thanks.

The update hook should be updated to not use the deprecated File alias for Path, to avoid it suddenly breaking in a future release of pacman.

@prettyvanilla: My bad, I forgot this one... Fixed in af8178dd5498, thanks.

In your update to not hardcode the path in the ESP (https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/commit/?h=memtest86-efi&id=6c4590b3a543) you didn't update the update()
function accordingly, so the update hook after the recent update copied the memtest86 files to the ESP root instead of updating those in the configured path.

@Sven: Ok, I understand. 7-zip-full
is not behaving like p7zip
.
I installed 7-zip-full
to do some tests. It works with both p7zip
and 7-zip-full
packages since `a69e4de104cd.

I know why this is happening to me. I have aur/7-zip-full installed. Then the file has a different name.

As you probably know, the
<https://www.memtest86.com/downloads/memtest86-usb.zip>
URL is likely to cause problems, like this error:To avoid this problem, I prefer to reupload
memtest86-usb.zip
archive somewhere else, where this kind of breakage will not appear.I can't upload this archive on AUR directly (archive is 8 MB but AUR accepts 250 KiB maximum), so I decide to put this archive on my Git repository to avoid future breakages.
I hope it suits you.
