Hi and welcome to the AUR, this pkgbuild at the moment is a disguised VCS (-git) one and there isn't correlation between source and pkgver as 1.0.0 git tag don't exist, since you are upstream you can easily create one

About your upstream github repo it would have been nicer to make a proper for fork of https://github.com/NotAShelf/microfetch and preserve the git history

About pkgbase=microfetch-arch-linux it wasn't needed here

Please, use yay -S microfetch or paru -S microfetch instead of yay -S microfetch-arch-linux or so...
