The following packages are dependencies needed to use mimic3-download, for instance mimic3-download --output-dir ~/Downloads en_US/hifi-tts_low:

python-tqdm
python-swagger-ui-py
python-quart-cors
onnxruntime

I can't build it:

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
python-phonemes2ids: /usr/lib/python3.11/site-packages/tests/__init__.py exists in filesystem (owned by python-gruut-ipa)
python-phonemes2ids: /usr/lib/python3.11/site-packages/tests/__pycache__/__init__.cpython-311.pyc exists in filesystem (owned by python-gruut-ipa)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
error: packages failed to build: python-xdgenvpy-2.3.5-2 mimic-0.2.4-2

I'm pretty sure neither package should be installing the tests site-package to begin with.

Still missing deps - maybe someone else can take over and add?

In general, mycroft-mimic3-tts has various missing deps:

ERROR: pip's dependency resolver does not currently take into account all the packages that are installed. This behaviour is the source of the following dependency conflicts.
mycroft-mimic3-tts 0.2.4 requires espeak-phonemizer<2.0,>=1.0, which is not installed.
mycroft-mimic3-tts 0.2.4 requires gruut<3.0,>=2.3.0, which is not installed.
mycroft-mimic3-tts 0.2.4 requires onnxruntime<2.0,>=1.6, which is not installed.
mycroft-mimic3-tts 0.2.4 requires quart<1.0,>=0.16, which is not installed.
mycroft-mimic3-tts 0.2.4 requires quart-cors, which is not installed.
mycroft-mimic3-tts 0.2.4 requires epitran==1.17, but you have epitran 1.23 which is incompatible.
mycroft-mimic3-tts 0.2.4 requires swagger-ui-py<22,>=21, which is not installed.

/usr/bin/mimic3-server seems to miss a dependency:

  File "/usr/lib/python3.10/site-packages/mimic3_http/__main__.py", line 23, in <module>
    import hypercorn
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'hypercorn'

And /usr/bin/mimic3 tries to open something which only root can read, but that is a bug of python-absl:

  File "/usr/lib/python3.10/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 1726, in _get
    with open(path, 'rb') as stream:
PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/usr/lib/python3.10/site-packages/absl_py-1.4.0-py3.10.egg-info/PKG-INFO'

$ ls -al /usr/lib/python3.10/site-packages/absl_py-1.4.0-py3.10.egg-info/PKG-INFO
-rw-r----- 1 root root 2310 Mar 24 03:22 /usr/lib/python3.10/site-packages/absl_py-1.4.0-py3.10.egg-info/PKG-INFO

The build currently fails in a clean chroot, since it's missing the python-setuptools makedepends:

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'setuptools'
