5.2.2 went into community the other day.

I'm unsure why you flagged out of date, I'm assuming because of the normal lua package getting a new pkgbuild version? I don't know how I can incorporate their changes as I don't have access to their pkgbuild. I changed the pkgbuild version to match and reuploaded, unsure of what else you want me to do.

Awesome!

There you go! Thanks for figuring that out for me.

Oh nice, I'll update the pkgbuild as soon as I boot into Linux.

Aha! I found the problem! Parallel building isn't supported. Add -j1 after make to enforce it.

Perhaps! If you manage to fix it I'll update the package. It's hard for me to debug it when it compiles normally for me.

Hmm... Perhaps there's a make flag or configure flag to increase verbosity?

I'm unsure what to do :(. Perhaps monitor your std::err stream to see if you're simply missing the error message there, or try manually compiling it.

Well, I did that. I was a bit alarmed that makepkg told me it was 55 megs smaller than my previous build. It makes me wonder if anything was disabled this time. Anyway, I'm still getting the same error, I even rebuilt mingw-w64-crt with the patched mingw-w64-gcc but still Lua gave me that error.
