One question left: Does the current stable mpd also support mixramp tags or do I have to use its git version?

Looks like older eyed3 have different args. If you want add ogg, please..

Very interesting package!! It should be easy to add support for more filetypes, especially ogg vorbis would be very important. I'll look into it and provide a patch.
