I would suggest adding /opt/intelFPGA/20.1/modelsim_ase/bin to PATH

On my machine, fonts in Modelsim were unreadable. It stems from a problem with the ttf-inconsolata package, see:

As a workaround, I uninstalled ttf-inconsolata and installed ttf-inconsolata-g from the AUR instead.
