@seppia,@beardedlinuxgeek I'm sorry for the delay in answering. I tried again building it in a clean chroot env using arch scripts on a brand new virtual machine and did not get any error, as I'm not getting the error it's hard for me to help. Seems it have some problem connecting to the agent in the test environment Does it happen even on a new system?

I get the same error as seppia

After last update of the package monkeysphere (2016-06-24 09:06) makepkg is unable to build due to a failure in the function check(). The failure occurs also in a clean environment. @samba are you able to then use monkeysphere subkey-to-ssh-agent? I tried on a fresh install using a previously working subkey and with your suggestion I was unable to add my key to the agent. Purging and reinstalling as-is worked. I did not try to create a new subkey tought

monkeysphere doesn't work with gpg1 in /usr/bin need a mv and link to gpg2 ------------------------- # monkeysphere gen-subkey No secret keys found. Create an OpenPGP key with the following command: gpg --gen-key # mv /usr/bin/gpg1 /usr/bin/gpg1.org # ln -s /usr/bin/gpg2 /usr/bin/gpg1 # monkeysphere gen-subkey A valid authentication key already exists for primary key 'XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX'. Are you sure you would like to generate another one? (y/N) y Please enter your passphrase for .....

Here's an ungly way to make it work: yaourt -S gnupg1 from aur and then sed -i 's/LC_ALL=C gpg/LC_ALL=C gpg1/g' /usr/bin/monkeysphere sed -i 's/LC_ALL=C gpg/LC_ALL=C gpg1/g' /usr/bin/monkeysphere-host sed -i 's/gpg --fixed-list-mode --no-greeting --quiet --no-tty "$@"/gpg1 --fixed-list-mode --no-greeting --quiet --no-tty "$@"/g' /usr/bin/monkeysphere-authentication So the import works and the connection too

It doesn't work anymore with gnupg 2.1.0, the export option export-reset-subkey-passwd has been removed from gnupg so adding the subkey to the agent fails
