In February 2018, mutt switched from hg on dev.mutt.org to git on https://gitlab.com/muttmua/mutt/tree/master

IMHO this package should either be removed - or rebased on git. I for one would very much like a mutt-git AUR package.

Might want to add --enable-sidebar as option in the PKGBUILD (commented out). Since support for sidebar has been added in mutt-hg https://t.co/HRqf1nASsn

Ok I've unflagged this. If you have any specific issues feel free to mention them. But this is not the same package as the official arch mutt package, and I'm not trying to sync or copy it.

It's out of date in the sense that the dependency list, compilation flags, and included files (package()) are not synced with the upstream Arch package, and do not represent the current state of mutt upstream.

I've rewritten the PKGBUILD so that it is synchronized with Arch mutt PKGBUILD to simplify verification of the package if anyone is interested. Updated aurball here: https://jon.thesquareplanet.com/share/mutt-hg.src.tar.gz, PKGBUILD here: https://jon.thesquareplanet.com/share/mutt-hg.PKGBUILD (install file is same as for Arch mutt).

Here is a fix for the automake bug. Add this between "cd ${srcdir}/${_hgrepo}-build" and "./prepare ...". # fix for automake 1.12 sed -i -e '/AM_C_PROTOTYPES/d' configure.ac
