@d3vilguard It makes GNOME Shell feel much smoother If you're sensitive to frame drops.
Forgive me for asking, but what is the purpose of this patch? I've got a laptop with an intel iGPU. Saw using this patched mutter as a suggestion. Also some news articles that in should merge into mutter.
There's a bunch of merge conflicts between v46.5 and mr1441. Since one of them would require some guessing on my part I've decided to wait a few days for upstream. In the meantime, Mutter 46.4 still works just fine with GNOME Shell 46.5.
Thank you, @NGStaph! A rebuild fixes that issue, so I have bumped the package version.
When mr1441 has been merged we should celebrate with cake and remove this package!
libdisplay-info update is incompatible with current version. Switch to mutter 46.2-3 to fix. @JockeTF what happens to this package when mr1441 has been merged?
I understand. Thanks anyway!
@NGStaph Sorry, but I'm keeping this focused on !1441.
consider adding #3304 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/merge_requests/3304 please.
@frandieguez all good here, make sure to cleanbuild
