Looks like I got my answer, no. This has worked properly under KDE for at least a year. Seems no matter the updating the creator does it just does not want to work properly under Plasmsa.

i'm running manjaro 18.1.4 rc2 kde testing build and i get the following when i try to install my-weather-indicator from the software manager. any idea on what i can do to correct / fix it? thanks

please add DarkSky service it's free for developers https://darksky.net/ and it is much more accurate than Open Weather
