Dropbox merged the updates for Nautilus 43, so their git is up to date, and now AUR is up to date. This makes my patch in the comments below unnecessary.

Got this today:

configure: error: Package requirements (libnautilus-extension >= 2.16.0) were not met:

More interestingly, there is a fix: https://github.com/dropbox/nautilus-dropbox/pull/105

It appears this doesn't currently work with GNOME 43 - see https://ask.fedoraproject.org/t/official-dropbox-package-doesnt-install-in-fedora-37/27296

Is there a way to stop nautilus-dropbox from showing the big green checkmark icon in the nautilus UI for every single file?

It seems this was reported by some people already: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-files-folders/Linux-Dropbox-v100-4-109-dropdown-menu-no-longer-shows-quot/m-p/433026

@titaniumbones I was never able to figure this out. I've tried running nautilus in terminal to check logs and I think there is some python2 compatibility issue. The Dropbox team has not responded to my issue on GH. I ended up spinning up Nextcloud instead on my SBC, nautilus integration is much smoother there. I'm sorry we can't seem to get this working consistently.
