I think having the script called "launcher" is a bit werid, considering there can be multiple launchers.
I suggest changing the script/binary name to something like notparadoxlauncher-setup to avoid confusion
Edit: actually, seems that Paradox games have to call a binary called launcher. Maybe make a subdir then?

Done -- this package now compiles from source (thanks for the hint, FabioLolix), and I've also published notparadoxlauncher-bin for people who don't want to download 1.5G of makedeps.

OK, thanks, I'll do that tomorrow.

Reuploading the pkgbuild as notparadoxlauncher-bin is fine too.
I was able to compile using the only command I know about freepascal/lazurus, lazbuild *.lpi, for each binary. (lazbuild is from lazarus package)
Is doable building from source, in the next days I can write the pkgbuild

Hi FabioLolix, would it be better to rename this package to
notparadoxlauncher-bin
instead? I couldn't find build instructions upstream and I don't have time to figure out how to compile Pascal code right now (if someone else does, I would of course be very happy to change thePKGBUILD
).FabioLolix commented on 2021-06-02 20:23 (UTC)
Hello, the program is open source but this pkgbuild is repackaging a precompiled binary. The license is not a common one and need to be installed
